Planetware´s tuning forks guarantee the highest possible degree of accuracy. The precision of the sound frequencies generated is very much higher than prescribed by the German Industry Norm (DIN).
Planetware´s tuning forks are available in 2 different sizes:
Tuning Forks "standard"
for occasional use at home
Tuning Forks "large"
for frequently and professional use
Both sizes of tuning fork generate the same sound frequencies and even the sound volumes are the same. The large tuning forks are about 60% heavier than the standard forks. After striking the prongs of a large tuning fork it vibrates for longer because of its weight. The more you work with these tuning forks, the more relaxed your handling of them becomes. For this reason they are ideal for professional continued use (e.g.: in tone acupuncture). The stems of the large forks are a little bit longer and more comfortable to hold for people with large hands.
